Guidelines for Sponsors

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring and/or exhibiting at ASLM’s Anniversary Celebration 2025. Please read the following guidelines carefully. 

As an accredited RACGP QI&CPD training provider, ASLM’s sponsorship guidelines adhere to RACGP requirements. These guidelines ensure a clear separation between commercial offerings and educational content.

By becoming a sponsor or exhibitor, you, your staff, and anyone representatives involved in your sponsorship agree to abide by these conditions at all times. We reserve the right to terminate any sponsorship agreement without notice if these conditions are breached.

Definitions:

  • “You” refers to your organisation, its staff, and representatives attending the event/s.
  • “We”, “our”, “us” or “the organisers” refers to ASLM, its staff, officers and associated individuals or organisations.

Terms and Conditions

By agreeing to sponsor or exhibit, you confirm that you will:

  1. Financial Responsibility
    • Assume full responsibility for all costs associated with sponsoring or exhibiting, including any liability for loss, damage, or injury.
  2. Compliance and Conduct
    • Maintain good standing with all relevant authorities and organisations.
    • Hold all required insurances necessary to participate in the event(s).
    • Adhere to RACGP guidelines and ensure separation between commercial activities and educational content.
  3. Presentation and Promotion
    • Avoid referencing or promoting companies, brands, products, or services during presentations or discussions in the lecture rooms.
    • Only display or distribute promotional materials (e.g., printed items, products, samples) within the designated exhibition area assigned to you, following the organisers’ directions at all times.
  4. Professionalism
    • Avoid making statements or taking actions that could reasonably be perceived as negative, derogatory, or defamatory toward ASLM, speakers, or other sponsors.
    • Refrain from claiming, implying, or suggesting that your organisation, products, or services are endorsed, approved, or recommended by ASLM.
  5. Regulatory Compliance
    • Display or promote only therapeutic products or devices that are registered or licensed by the TGA or an equivalent authority.
    • Ensure all therapeutic claims adhere to the terms of registration or licensing and are substantiated.
    • Avoid promoting products, devices, or services that could reasonably be considered misleading, unsubstantiated, or ineffective.
